Flavours of Rajasthan @ Amarkanan Farm, Chattarpur

Edible Routes has collaborated with Yashita Corporate lawyer by profession and a food enthusiast by heart to bring “Flavours of Rajasthan” at their Amarkanan Farm. So come and enjoy your weekend.
1. Welcome drink – Pakodi ki kaanji
(soft pillowy moong daal pakodi submerged in fermented water making it a digestive drink)
2. Salad – Roasted Barley Salad
(Roasted barley (Jau), vegetables with Rajasthani tadka dressing)
3. Soupy starter – Rajasthani Kadhi Samosa YK style
(Mini samosas broken and dunked in Thin kadhi made with gramflour and chaas topped with black gram and other condiments)
4. Gatte ke Chawal
(Masala Gram flour dumplings steamed then pan roasted and added to fragrant basmati rice)
5. Ker Sangri
(Traditional Rajasthani dish made with wild berries, dessert beans and kalmatiya daal)
6. Aloo Methi Dana Jhol
(Chatpati aloo sabzi with jhol and tadka of hing methi daana and other spices)
7. Bikaneri Paratha
(Chatpata Moong Daal filled Soft thin Parathas made in wholewheat flour)
8. Motichoor Vanilla Ice Cream
(Hand churned vanilla ice cream with jodhpuri boondi)

Professionally a corporate lawyer but passionately a food enthusiasts so much that the stars aligned in such a way that As a lawyer too she became part of an aviation catering company’s legal set up.
As a child having spent most of her time with her Naani (maternal grandmother) who was an excellent and passionate cook, would eat something anywhere and would recreate the same at home effortlessly made her interested in cooking and pick up hosting and cooking skills from there. Rooted in Rajasthan and having travelled far and beyond, her cooking is inspired by her family and travel experiences.
