About the Chef
‘Luchee Food Story’ is Sharmila Sinha’s effort to bring to guests those rare and authentic food experiences, whether it’s a dining experience at her home or catered food at special events. Her meals comprise of rare and authentic food experiences – with chop, cha and chatter.
Food for soul. Food to make friends. Food builds community. And food connects farms with festivity and seasonality. That’s why Luchee Food Story works food – to showcase how food connects all dots and links the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as pronounced by UN.
She’s been putting together dining experiences for tourists and locals for over a decade. This gave birth to Luchee Food Story in 2018 – her effort to showcase food traditions from unexplored hinterland of India, especially Bengal. She puts her own twist to the recipes by adding Awadhi touch.
