Want to learn how to make a healthy and absolutely delish snack from scratch? This garden smoothie workshop by Edible Routes is what you are looking for!
Smoothies can be a bit challenging as you find yourself blending the same old ingredients everyday. But not when your own garden is packed with tasty medicinal plants!
The workshop will be informative as well as inspiring to grow your own medicinal garden and make healing and filling smoothies using your home produce.We will walk you through the different components of growing your own medicinal products that make up a seriously powerful, nutrient rich, satiating and customized smoothie.
By the end of this workshop you will know the benefits of local and seasonal plants and will be able to transform them into smoothies that feeds your friends, family and of course your own tummy!

About the Facilitator:
Kapil – Founder, CEO at Edible Routes
Kapil studied Management of Information Systems & Finance from the University of Texas at Austin (1999-2003). He then worked for Deloitte Consulting in San Francisco as a Senior Consultant for five years.
In 2008, Kapil relocated to Gujarat to start organic farming at his 22-acre farmland. During the next five years, he established a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) system through which residents could buy local, seasonal, and fresh produce directly from the farm. He then founded Edible Routes in 2015 with the aim to help more and more people grow their own food.
Kapil has trained with Bhaskar Save in 2011, and in greenhouse cultivation from the Horticulture Training Centre in Talegaon, Maharashtra in 2012. Between 2012 and 2014, Kapil participated in the Shod Yatras in Mizoram, Manipur and Punjab with Prof. Anil Gupta, IIM Ahmedabad. He obtained his Permaculture Design Certificate in 2014 after training with Rico Zook. Since 2018, Kapil has been certified by Rosemary Morrow as a ‘Permaculture Teacher and Designer’.
With the Edible Routes team, he has created more than 1000 edible gardens and manages 25 farms in Delhi, NCR, Uttarakhand, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Gujarat.
